I received this book as a gift: IF YOU EVER WANTED TO CRAWL IN THE CLOSET WITH AN OREO.. The author is a mother of a child with special needs. She wanted to encourage other parents when they are having those "I NEED chocolate and a dark closet to hide in" moments. For me, that lasts about a minute or two before I have to come out before the kids destroy the house, but it helps.. Thanks for visiting!

Hello Julie,
I came across your blog while doing a search, and was intrigued when I read that your two boys have autism. I teach kindergarten, and one of my students has been diagnosed with autism so I am trying to find out as much as I can about it as help this child get the best start possible. I can also relate because I have almost four children, ages 5, 4, and 2 (baby due in 3 weeks). Your children are beautiful. I love all the pictures. Anyway, just wanted to stop by and say hi.
