So what do you do when you have 4 older siblings, including 2 brothers with severe autism that mostly ignore you, and 1 drooling baby brother? Answer: you team up with the sisters. You learn to walk in dress-up heels, wear sequin dresees, and bows, of course.

I'll never forget - when Jacob & Joshua were little we were at our neighborhood park. They were having pee-wee, or the equivalent of, football practice. This little boy did a cartwheel in the field. His mother jumped out of her lawn chair and started yelling at him, "OH YOU'RE A GIRL NOW?!! WANT SOME BALLET SHOES & A TUTU!" she was livid. So anyways, back to the present, while we're not encouraging any..umm.. alternative lifestyles I'm certainly not gonna flip out - we're getting some good laughs (as well as future blackmail material) from it all. So go Daniel!

Took some pictures in a neighbor's blue bonnet patch today. Jacob, Joshua and Rachael were at school. You may notice there are no pictures of Daniel. I did not trust toddlerzilla to not maul the flowers!

..just checking in. Can you see which side of the family Caleb gets his beautiful blues from? Deren's parents came to visit for the week of spring break here. The kids had a blast playing with Grandpa David and Grandma Priscilla, and after the first 2 days the weather finally cooperated and it was beautiful outside.

It's official - Deren can never disown Caleb! He's a little mini-Deren!

January has started off pretty busy. To the specialists we go. Last week it was to the developmental neurologist. This coming week to the eye specialist, the g.i. specialist, and an ARD meeting at Rachael's school. Not getting anything done around the house - just running around in my little hamster wheel. ..off to mop the floors or something..
Abby's teacher, Ms. Hoffman (Abby calls her "Hoffman"), sent home a Christmas card. The pic was from the Christmas pageant at the school. The inside of the card said "Thank you for sharing your angel with me." Awwww.. that was the sweetest gift we've received from the years of school. So here's a pic of our angel.
